Hello, Any one facing delays in RMA ?
I sent a drive to WD USA and it was received by them on 27th oct. Till date - 15th Nov i have not received the replacement. Can some one from WD kindly shed light what is happening?

Hello, Thanks for the reply, I noticed there was an email from WD customer care. But i use different E-mail ID for RMA etc and Different E-mail ID for forums. ( for safety etc). I am in touch with the customer care via chat on alternative days, but other than assurances , I am yet to get the replacement drive, I had also informed the Agent that i will not be available for and extended period of time from 3rd week of Nov. So the drive has to reach me in 2 days.
Checking in to see if WDC has managed to get the RMA replacement delivered.
Yes the finally shipped the drive.
So the update is they have shipped TWO drives to me. First was shipped under a different RMA Number ( specially created as i needed the drive in a hurry ) and then one more drive was shipped using the original RMA number. I have mailed to the customer care and told them that i would like to return one . Or They can sell the extra drive to me at a reasonable price. Lets see what they do,
I think your replacement drives will probably be refurbished rather than new. You might want to consider that possibility if you decide to buy one of them.
Yes they are recertified. Ok, i got a reply back from them, “Please allow me to inform you that we are unable to provide the option to charge you for the additional drive”
No issues. The extra drive will be returned to them
