Defective or just buggy?

Hi,

My new WDTV live plus can’t get an ip via dhcp from my router, but every other device I have works fine. It also only plays 2 seconds of pandora, then stops, and windows 7 play to only has audio. Is my player defective or is this just firmware bugs?

Its hooked up via component and ethernet.

All of those things sound like a bad network connection.

which would make sense if not for the fact that only the wdtv shows it. Pandora is fine on my laptop, I have 10 computers and a tivo off of my router, all fine. and oddly, netflix plays fine on the player. I have verizon fios 25/25 mbit with their actiontec router.
