Hi,

I have a timer that switches off my whole entertainment rack to save power and I use a universal remote. The WDTV LIVE only has a power toggle not off/on and when the rack powers up the wdtv comes up powered on. So when I click the remote to use it the wdtv toggles to off.

I am wondering if anyone knows a way to have the WD power up in standby not in the on position.

Unfortunately, the WD TV Live HD Media Player does not feature start-up behavior options. As an alternative I would recommend an independent power switch or disconnecting the device when not in use.
