Hi everyone
I have had similar problems to many with the blinking yellow/blue light on one of my mybook lives. I followed the debrick guide and it seemed like the drive had failed, i couldnt recover any data.
As a last resort I saw some had fixed the problem by swapping out their drive to another mybook. I bought another on ebay, tried this, same result. No problem.
HOWEVER, upon reassembling the second mybook, which originally had a working drive, ive now got the same blinking light issue as with the first. I think i was careful when taking it apart and assembling it again. I dont understand why this would have happened? Any tips on how it could be fixed? Or do i have a second useless unit now?
