I would like to use these drives to offload data from CFAST cards in the field by plugging the CFAST card reader directly into the USB port on the Passport.
As reference I plugged the CFAST card with a Sandisk reader into the hub on my PC and at 32MB/s it offloading a basically full 128G card takes an hour, so for my target, which is a 256G card, that’s about 2 hours.
What throughput can I expect from the Passport? Are there any tricks (specific card reader, cables, etc.) to moving the files faster?
