When i run the extended Test i get the message ‘Cable Test: Write Sector Error!’ WHat does this mean? I’m able to use the disk so i have to assume the cables to the drive are on snug. I did add a second internal drive a month ago and am able to use that also. I get the same error on that drive when i run the extended test.
If you’re running Windows 7, you will get this error on the older version of DLG Diagnostics. The newer version of DLG Diag fixed that, but it’s still not completely compatible with 7. They’re working on updating the utility, but there is no eta for it.
