Hi, i have this great problem with WDLIVE file management:
- i moved some mkv files from my WD Element 500GB (NTFS) to WD My Book 2TB (HFS+), and all file are ok on origin HD.
- When try to play these mkv (sucessfully moved with file managment) on My Book 2TB i can’t seek and after press FF i have this error: “The file you are playng dows not support trick mode”
- After copy the same mkv file on the same disk and on other folder on My Book 2TB, when seek i have another error: “Unable to play selected file. Please see the User Manual for a list of supported file formats” .
- Often i have some logical errors to correct (with MacOSX Disk Utility) on My Book 2TB after use WDTVLIVE file management for moving or coping files.
I believe my files are not definitely damaged …
P.S. :
- I have WDLIVE with 1.03.49_V Firmware
- all File Management operations are sucessfully termined with no error.
- all Mkv Files moved with File Management have the same problem
I think the update to last firmware do no resolve this problem … (WD Live Firmware====Bugged Firmware) .
