sup everyone… new to this cloud thing and having issues downloading the dashboard. i have the WD MY CLOUD application on my desktop but it looks nothing like what they show in the users manual. i dont have a settings button so i cant update the firmware. my application background is a light grey color and the one they show is black wit a lot of tabs at the top… am i missing something here?

When you set up your My Cloud you should have been able to place shortcuts on your desktop to open everything. See image below.
To see your Dashboard open up your My Cloud app and look at the IP Address.
Using it enter the following in the address bar, Example: http://192.168.1.XXX.
That should open up your Dashboard for you. Once open you can also pin it to your taskbar. See image below.
