Dashboard won't start

Hi folks,

It used to work but now says:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

I can connect and see content on the drive.


Also just checked MBL Public Share Link and it says:

A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Any ideas?


Are you able to access to the dashboard of the drive? If yes, goes to the settings and utilities settings.

On the utilities tab, you will be able to test the network drive and get a dignostic information, also you will be able to restore the drive to factory defaults.

As a recommendation, test the unit to see if theres an issues with the drive. If the diagnostic is good, you may try resetting the drive.

Hi there,

I’m not sure why but my short cut had the address ‘mybooklive’ or similar in the browser and didn’t work.

When I used quick view to launch it it had an IP address in the browser which did work.

I made a new short cut and  that seems to work too.

Not really sure what happened and I am curious if anyone knows.
