Just bought a thunderbolt G-Tech drive which has ONE thunderbolt port connected to computer and ONE USB3 free port. How do I daisy chain this? There’s no USB3 to USB3 cable out there that I can find with similar Male B terminals at each end. It cam e with a USB3 to USB3 cable BUT it’s got a standard USB3 Male A plus on one end which fits on no drive I know of. Thanks.
You can only daisy chain Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt. USB is not a chain-able interface.
The prior post is correct.
However to clarify since it’s easy to misconstrue USB-C (v3.1) capabilities, USB-C does not support daisy chain.
