It is February 26th. Every day when I boot my computer a firmware update is successfully downloaded and installed. When I check the date for the firmware it is still from January 28, 2016 and version 2.11.133.
Shouldn’t it only be downloading and updating when there is a new firmware version? I always had the impression that firmware updates were a bit dangerous . . . and here we are doing a daily update?
Perhaps it would be best contact WD Support about this. You can do so over the phone or via E-mail.
Maybe you could consider this a bit like an email and post WDCs response here. That might save other users the bother of contacting support.
