looking to buy a mobile g dirve 4 tb as an xmas gift for someone that produces their own music, he has a mackbook 13 inch. this g drive is compatible/will work, yes?
If the MBP is a newer model then it should not have any issues. The reason it would have an issue would be an older model MBP not being able to provide enough bus power to power up the device. That shouldn’t be a problem if the computer is within a 4 or so years old.
