My 320 gb hard disk was working fine until yesterday (I don’t know y) it stopped working when I connect it to the PC it show that it is getting detected by showing the plug in icon in the task bar but it does not show in the my computer window…Please help…Got my photo collection in it that’s y… 
Same thing happened to mine out of the blue a couple of days ago. I am still waiting to hear from WD support. It also happened to my WD My Book at the same time.
did ur hdd fall or something?
