I’ve seen people on here installing Joomla from their WD Cloud, I was just wondering how can I set up some sort of Intranet page from my cloud?

What you’ve seen most probably done on MyCloud Mirror/EX2/EX4 and so on but not MyCloud single bay as it doesn’t support installation of 3rd party apps.

MyCloud single bay already come with Apache2 web server, PHP5 which you can host basic html/php sites but that’s about it. If you want to install something like Joomla you’ll need more than that i.e. MySQL.

For those, search this MyCloud single bay section for unofficial ways to modify your MyCloud to achieve what you need.

You need to be familiar with all these else wrong changes would end you up with a broken DashBoard.

As a start, the server root is /var/www/htdocs.

I again suggest you to search this forum. There’s lots of information you may need to digest.
