Crazy: "And, your name is"

This hadn’t happened previously, but the last couple of days I get the above message after starting the My Cloud app on my phone. Now, at 61 I think I know how to spell my first and last name; however, I cannot get past the page: hitting “continue” just reloads it. I dutifully enter my first and last name. repeat.

When I start the app, I am auto logged in (i.e., “Hello, Greg”), and this request only shows up when I am away from my home wifi, and sometimes it occurs halfway into the first song being played and other times it happens may minutes into playing music.

searching produced no results. what is going on?
