I have a mybook essential 1TB. How do I back up specific files that are on my hard drive? Not the options give in the software. If I cant whats a better backup software? Also why is my drive only showing up as 930GB
Unfortunately, the software won’t back up as specific as you want it to. However, we are working on changing that feature. I just don’t know when it will be available. You can always use Windows backup if you have XP, Vista, or 7. Or, you can purchase another backup software. You can also use the copy and paste function of Windows and copy data over to the drive.
