Corrupted Hard Drive Help

Hello,

There was a power outage in my area two days ago, while I was using my desktop computer. The power went out for just a second. When I restarted my computer, it says there’s no bootable device and can’t see my hard drive.

I tried connecting it to another computer as a secondary drive, but then the first one won’t boot either, even if I go into the BIOS.

I also tried Windows Installation CD, but it does not detect any drive, so I can’t seem to repair it that way.

What can I ?

Hello,

Try running a diagnostic using WD DLG to determine the drive’s health. It is possible that the power outage caused a mechanical issue and the drive is now damaged.
