Coping files bigger then 700M/800M, doesn´t work remotely

Hello,

I cannot upload or download files bigger 700/800M, when I’m not in the same network as My Cloud.

I’ve tried to use the Web interface and the WD My Cloud SW in a Windows 7 work computer and the result is the same, it stops after 800M. :confounded:

Is there any solution for this? It really be nice if it works!

I do not have this issue. I downloaded 4 files last weekend from my My Cloud and every one of them was over 1GB. Not sure if this makes a difference or not, but I used the link from the Desktop App and put it in an email that I could access from  the road.

Are you sure this isn’t an ISP limit?

when connected directly via 1G Switch I can get 40MB/s, copying USB via PC to My Cloud I get 30MB/s.

The 700M can really be a limit inside my work network.

700MB is roughly the size of most torrent movies, thus your workplace is effectively stopping any movie torrenting while allowing any other files to be transfered successfully.

The network itself is not aware of file sizes.
