Copied files converted into .xml

Hi,

I have copied my file(.zip,.txt) in WD passport hard disk and my all files are converted into .xml format in hard disk. And now unable to open.
Please suggest me know to get my files in original format.

it might be the reason that your computer does have malware on it, try to scan the drive with a good antivirus.

I have scanned the folder with good antivirus but no effect.
