Continual blinking light and totally silent drive - Is it dead?

I have a series 1 ( I think ) MyCloud 4TB drive.

After moving house I am trying to get it going, however I have no normal HD drive sounds when I plug it in, the status indicator lamp is continually blinking yellow and I cannot connect to it from my Macbook.

Is it dead ?

If so, is there any way to recover data ? I have thousands of photos on it and am worried they are gone forever :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I have tried the reset… no result.
Regarding not hearing any normal HD sounds… it would seem that the HD is not spinning. Is my HD dead ? And if so, can it be repaired ?
