Talked to phone support today and they got my Mac to work for exactly 5 minutes. Now I can see it from my browser but I can’t connect to MyCloud 4TB with finder or the installed software. I get Connection Problems no matter how I try to connect. I even went to the “Go” menu and try to connect to the server using afp://wdmycloud. Gives the error message “Problem connecting”
You need to connect to afp://wdmycloud.local
Try going to afp://(insert your mycloud ip address). It is the only way to access and transfer files greater than 999KB. PS…WD admit there is an issue with the software with Apple El Capitan. No fix to this yet. Hope this helps.
