Connection Failed Message on Time Machine

Hello

I have rest my MBWE and attempted another Time Machine Backup.

I now get the following message:

The server “MyBookWorld.local” may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again.

This is despite being able to see MBWE and WD_Backup in the network.

Any ideas

Already tried this and unfortunately does not sort the problem. Any other ideas?

Try setting the MBWE as a static IP address, then remap the drives to you PC. Seems to be more stable - works for me in this mode anyway.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
