Connecting WD to Samsung Smart TV

Dear all,

I want to start of with saying that I am quite new to this all so for some this question may seem as really basic. I have a Samsung UE48JU7000 and a WD-MYBOOKLIVE and I want to access the WD via the Samsung TV. I tried to use the built in app on the TV but the only possibilty I could see to connect where mobile devices, pc’s and usb’s. So my question is how do I connect to the WD with my Samsung TV?
