How to Connect WDTV Live to WDTV Live HUB “Media Folder” Via Network Shares ? i dont have the username to connect … please help

I use WDLXTV on my WDLive to connect to my Hub.  Works great!

Been on the fence for a while about giving this a shot. Big question for me is can I go back to the WD firmware?

I think you can.  Took me a little bit to get it set up correctly, but it works great now.  Plus, I like some of the themes.  I don’t use any of the extras like netflix etc (blu ray for that).  I use it in bedroom to access the Hub’s content.

Read the noob central.  You basically downliad the firmware to a USB, the leave the USB drive plugged in all the time.
