Connect WDTV Life with home theater

I just bought WDTV Live. How can I connect WDTV Life with my home theater device (LG HT902TB)?

Connect your WD optical out to optical port of your LG set for audio, choose HT speakers mode on LG. Connect your WD video to your TV using HDMI or component cables.

I have a home theatre DVD system with phono in (red and white inputs) so I just feed out from my WD HDTV Live box via the supplied cable into my DVD 5.1 Surround System for a wicked audio experience. Just switch your system theatre system to Auxillary or External whenever you’re watching content on your WD HD TV box
