I would like to connect my 2TB wd elements to a usb port on a dvd in turn connected to a non smart tv but it doesn’t ever register a connection.
there is no issue with the port as a flash drive works fine.

Hi, I would recommend you to contact the DVD manufacturer and check the format that supports and the largest device that will recognize when you connect something via USB.
