Connect USB-C drive to G-Drive Thunderbolt 3?

The G-Drive that interests me has two Thunderbolt 3 ports and a USB-C port. I would like to connect it to a MacBook Pro 15" Touch Bar 2018 via Thunderbolt 3. I have a LaCie 8 TB HDD connected to one of the MBP’s USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports. I would like to free up the port by plugging the LaCie into the G-Drive. Can I do that, using either the remaining Thunderbolt 3 port or the USB-C port on that drive?

If the other drive also has TB3 and not just USB-C then yes you can plug it into the 2nd TB3 port on the back of our drive. It is called daisy chaining and its the reason we put 2 TB ports on our drives.

You can’t attach a device to the USB port however since that is only to connect the drive to the computer.
