Connect to HDD Dock over USB Hub

Hi,

Does anybody know whether its possible to access movie files on a harddisk if the harddisk is attached to a docking station which is connected to a USB hub?

Meaning:

WD TV Live HD ------ USB Hub ------- Docking Station – HDD

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have never tried this since it is not supported. Lets see if any other user can comment on this. I also recommend you take a look at these links.
