Connect to another subnet

Hi
I have 2 networks connected via VPN, both with a media share
Local Network Shares were founded by wd live. I assume the other share cld Be easy connect by Samba and direct ip but i don’t think there’s a possibility to do that right now with the fw
Any other suggestions?
Networks are 192.168.2.xxx and 192.168.3.xxx
Thx

Nope…  You’d have to have a WINS server on the network to make that work, and the WDs don’t support WINS even if you did.  :)

I don’t think a WINS server is necessary.

Why can’t you make 2 1-to-1 NATs on your router to the WD tv. Let the router handle what it’s good at, and you just sit back.

I don’t know what kind of router your dealing with.

Because most VPN connections are transperant to consumer level routers. They cannot NAT a VPN  connection because they don’t know it is happening.

I have used various VPN software, most commonly Cisco. I have never found a way to bridge a local network with a remote network. If you know a way I would be most interested because I have always been annoyed by this limitation.
