How can I connect My Cloud EX2 directly to a pc runnig linux centos via ethernet? Just I unboxed my cloud and I need your help. Do I need to install any software like in windows. ?

I have no tried this, but lets see if another user can share some information or tips on this matter.
You can do this by setting up a link-local address, I’ve tried it before and it works. Connect your NAS and computer with a cable, then go to Settings > Network > Wired Connection (assuming you use Gnome). Add a new ethernet profile, use the default MAC address for your LAN card, give it a profile name and under IPv4, give it a link-local connection, and save it. The lights on the NAS should turn from red to blue once a connection is established. Once done, use your browser and enter your custom “device-name.local:80” and you should be able to login. But do note that you’ll lose any other external network capability or sharing, so you should turn off DLNA, NTP and the rest.
