Connect direct to MyBook Live Home Network drive

Hey,

I have a 2tb “My Book Live Home Network Drive”. This works perfectly! I always made a backup through my Mac with Time Machine.

Only now I’ve lost some files. This I would like to get back with a recovery program. Just how I scan the network drive. Can I connect the network drive directly to my Mac as HD? Because he has only a Ethernet port.
