When I am connecting my Ethernet drive, windows tells me that there is a conflict of IP address (the HDD IP is the same with another device on my network). Can some one tell me how (1) I can find out with which other device has the same IP address causing the conflict (2) how do I change either the HDD IP address of the other device’s IP ?
log into your router through its 192.168.0.x ip and see if you see your my book world ip and/or what ips are assigned. ex. 192.168.0.100-192.168.0.105 for all the devices in your home.
