Confirmation dialog deletion on NAS EX4 can it be removed?

I’ve got a WD Mycloud EX4 network attached storage. And it prompts a “are you sure you want to delete this?” dialog everytime I want to delete something.

It’s utterly frustrating because I dont like cleaning up the storage just because of this. I’m using a Mac, on windows it’s the same story. So is there a modification to do inside the firmware/software that this question does not pop up anymore? And yes, i’m aware there is no undelete feature or trash where i could retrieve my files back.

Hopefully somebody can help me with this.

(Delete confirmation in the OS is allready turned off!)

The NAS has absolutely NO influence on whether you get a warning or not.

That’s an OS thing.

You say you’ve already turned off the delete confirmation in the OS – exactly what did you do?

This is my screen on mac, now I conclude that the mac just deletes stuff without confirm dialog. There is no “disabling” of the deletion dialog in Mac os. But in Windows 7, unchecking “display delete confirmation”. Results in a flawless deletion.

Conclusion; Macos displays the dialog for deletion ONLY on network/mapped drives. So that matter is cleared up. But now the solution?
