Configuring remote Dashboard access - can it be done?

Even if you forwarded all the appropriate network ports, the only thing you’d see if you tried to browse to the Cloud’s webpage is something like this:

The webserver software is configured to disallow connections from any IP address outside its own network.

The EX2 / EX4 (and maybe the mirror) do allow the user to configure it to be permitted.

Now, in the interest of full disclosure, if you’re comfortable with Apache webserver configurations, it is possible to configure around this prohibition.  But given your introductory remarks, I thought I’d stay way from that.  :laughing:

There are even other methods with seriously cutting edge routers that allow full external NAT (which makes the cloud think it’s actually being browsed internally when actually the connection is external) or VPNs, but…
