Hola,

Necesitaria saber qué tengo que hacer para tener acceso al disco duro desde Internet (fuera de la red local), a través de la aplicación Plex.

Creo que es conveniente poner una IP fija al Disco Duro (My Cloud Home), pero no sé cómo hacerlo.

También queria saber qué más hay que hacer para tener acceso a Plex desde Internet

I need to know what I have to do to access the hard drive from the Internet (outside the local network), through the Plex application.

I think it is convenient to put a fixed IP to the Hard Disk (My Cloud Home), but I do not know how to do it.

I also wanted to know what else there is to do to access to Plex from Internet

  • Static IP is not supported on a My Cloud Home
  • However, you can configure the router for DHCP Reservation
  • If your router supports UPnP, it is enabled and working OK, and your My Cloud Home is not Double NAT’s (behind two IP Address serving network routers), then Plex should port forward on it’s own.
