Bottix:
Goodmorning everyone,
I bought WD My Cloud 3TB few days and I can not understand some things, excuse my ignorance on the subject.
I would ask if, folders created automatically “Public” in the guide that describes how public shares, can be viewed by any user on the web? Ie, the files I uploaded to the following folder (Music, Video and Pictures private) are accessible to anyone? Anyone can access and edit them?
I own a WD TV, PS3, one SMART TV and a laptop from which I want to access the data of the WD and play.
Also I would like to ask why my Iphone, where I downloaded the APP MyCloud does not back up photos and videos in my photo library, but I see only a few, I think you have correctly set the wizard to the folder in which to save up in myCloud.
I thank in advance all those I wish to help solve the problem
The Public folders are accessible to anyone on your local network. They are not accessible to anyone outside your local network, unless you give them access.

So I thought that, rather than trying to answer these questions individually, I’d try to write an FAQ covering the things I’ve found, and the problems I or …
I would also recommend reading the user manual (there is an Italian version):
