Straight out of the box I plugged it in to my window 7 computer. It showed up in ‘my computer’. After running the windows reformatting software it no longer is recognized. It does however register in disk management. Not sure what happened.
The drive out of the box will not show in “My Computer” it will only show in Devices. You will need to go through the process of using the format software we have on our site or through the FAQ guide on manually formatting it for Windows.
I suggest using the manual process at this point: Windows 7 Format help
As I stated in my initial entry I ran the windows formatting software and it still doesn’t show.
