Compatible Wireless Adapter--Airlink 101 NOT!

Can someone on this forum explain to me why the Airlink Golden 150 AWLL5077 Wireless Adapter is compatible with the WD TV Live Player and the one I already own, the Airlink 101 Wireless N Model AWLL6075 is not?  The AWLL6075 supports speeds of up to 300Mbps and the Golden 150 only 150Mbps. Other 300Mbps brand adapters are supported so I don’t think it can be a speed issue.

I have a Netgear N300 (WNR200-v3) Router. WD TV Live detects the network but will not connect to it.  Is the NETGEAR WN111-100NAR RangeMax Wireless Adapter the best choice for me? Thanks.

probably because the drivers are different for that adapter, and the drivers aren’t included in the WD’s firmware.

That makes sense to me. Sorry that after spending 15 minutes on hold, WD support could not ofer that explanation. Guess I’ll pony up for another adapter.
