Combo photo/movie "slideshow"

I have vacation pictures that are mostly pictures (.jpg), but there are a few video clips as well, either in .mov (camera) or in .mp4 (Samsung Galaxy S2).  I’d like to do a slideshow of a given folder that displays the pictures *and* the videos, in order.  It looks like the photo app shows only photos and the video app shows only videos.

Is there any easy way to show them together in a natural sequence?  Am I the only one who wants this?

Currently, this feature is not available on the unit.

As a recommendation, add this to the ideas board to see if that can be implemented.
