Color Cast

Using component cable and selecting 1080i, 60 HZ and YUV in Settings, .avi and DiVX movies have a greenish color cast that  my TV’s tint and color controls cannot fully correct. I’ve searched other posts but they seem old. I’m using the latest firmware version downloaded yesterday.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix? Thanks

So most movies look normal and only certain AVI and DivX movies are greenish?

Thanks for the reply. After looking at DVDs I’ve burned, all have a greenish cast.

… so what happens if you change to RGB instead of YUV?

Also make sure all three cables are properly connected / secure.

Finally, you can try using the COMPOSITE cable (see the FAQ) as a substitute for the COMPONENT cable in case one of the connectors is bad.
