I have a working WDMyCloud Device (old many years) visible and accessible via dashboard (from Mac). I have just bought a new 2TB WDMyCloud and would like to add it to my dashboard.
Seems to be impossible!!! The limited documentation supplied with drive says do setup with smartphone. Having done that I can add files by phone but cannot see or access the new drive in dashboard.
The new drive is visible in Mac Finder as guest but not by username setup on phone app. Says something like problem with username/password.
Can this be done?

I’ll answer my own question after much Googling.
NO IT CANT when you existing device is an old one.
So I have to create a new email for the new device that has to be different to MY email that I use already for the old device. Two separate logins to MyCloudHome. Very clumsy but ok it works sort of.
