ATTEMPTS TO INSTALL by CLONING WD HDD INTO EXISITING HP Pavillion a1224n with Samsung 200gb SATA Drive
(Note: This model has a 200Gb SATA Samsung HDD installed AND USES ALL DRIVE LETTERS UP TO J:\ FOR USB Devices)
WD Caviar Blue 500 GB Hard Drive 3.5 Inch, 16 MB Cache, 7200 RPM SATA II WD5000AAKS
Trying to use Acronis Software has failed 12 times. It always trys to use drive letter D. However D:\ in this HP pavillion is on the Primary (Only) Samsung SATA as the Windows “RECOVERY” location.
One time ONLY it found THE WD HD as Drive K:\ –them bombed AGAIN.
Does anyone have a (SIMPLE) suggestion for Cloning the Samsung 200gb to the new 500gb WD Drive?!
And IF SO MANY MANY hours of Thanks to you.
