I used Acronis WD edition to clone my HD but when I re-install the new drive and reboot it windows starts but stops and a message comes up stating that I need to install original install disc and reboot. I don’t have the original disc. All programs were cloned except windows 7, I would be grateful if someone can post a helpful message. Thanx.
Hi there, Apparently there were Windows files that did not transfer properly at the time you cloned the drive, My advice to you would be to install the drive again and repeat the process of Cloning the drive manuallyor automatically.
