Cloning Drive with Multiple Partitions

I am running Win 8 64bit.  I have a 500G SSD as Drive C:.  Drive C has 2 partitions, the System partition and the Recovery partition.  Both are physically on drive C.

I am using WD Acronis True Image to Clone to a 500G internal drive, (Drive H).

When the cloning operation is finished, both partitions are cloned to the 500g WD drive but they are assigned 2 different drive letters (System partition is Drive H and Recovery partition is drive G.  What is causing this?
