Cloned from another ehd & now lost space?

Hi Everybody

Today have cloned from my Iomega 500gb ehd to my WD My Passport Ultra 2TB.

When I look now, the WD is stating it only has 127gb of 500gb free. Help have I actually now lost 1.5TB or am I being stupid!

I know it has literally cloned everything from the Iomega, but I didn’t expect it to to ‘clone’ the actual space aswell?

I have left both the ehd as is, so I can erase if absolutely necessary - but if that’s the case will it go back to 2TB?

Hello,

You can just allocate the remaining 1.5 TB by going to disk management. Or you can delete the 500GB partition and format the complete 2TB drive.
