Clone a RAID5 Disk to avoid rebuild while swapping?

Can I clone an old WD RED6TB drive to a new WD RED PRO 6TB drive and swap the discs in the NAS’s bay to avoid the NAS rebuilding the RAID 5?

I would clone the disk sector by sector in an offline cloning station.

Is it faisable?
