Clock stops running when there is no power

I stop my brand new MBL and unplug it.

Then I power it again and it reboots ok.

The time/date is then wrong, as if the clock of the MBL has stopped running, and I have to reset it.

Is is the correct behavior? Is it untended that there is no internal battery to keep the clock running?

The clock should adjust automatically

check the settings on the dashboard

As Wizer says, it should update when it boots up.

BUT – The MBL must have a working connection to the internet to get the updated time when it boots up.

It does NOT update if the network is brought online AFTER the MBL is already booted.
