Chek the internal hard disk. It not can be detected

HI all.

I hae a wd elements play. In the tv, when I try to access on the HD the message “Chek the internal hard disk. It not can be detected.” appears(in spanish, the message can be different).

In windows xp, when I connect the player I cannot view him in the explorer.

Please, what can I do? The internal hard disk is crashed? I need to open it and change the internal hard disk or I can try another think after?

Hi, check if the Elements is recognized on the disk management window.

From the computer, you may run an Extended Test using DLG.
