Changing password

When I tried to change a password, next message appears over the screen??


and changing does not work. What can I do?

I tried both 1 and 2.

I probably should have stated the questions better … my fault.

Are you changing the “Admin” password? You can always reset that Admin account, it is in the manual. Not knowing what version of My Cloud you have … Gen1 or Gen2?

Are you trying to change a “Shared” account password for accessing locally or remotely?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Because I couldn’t log in on WDMyCloud (v04.04.03-113 : Core F/W I think Gen1.) I reset with 4 sec. Login as admin was ok then. The password of the admin was off. Trying to change the password of a user and still I got the message.
