Changing Drive Name - Adverse Actions?

I know how to change the drive name. Will it have an adverse reaction to the Sync programs that are running on three machines? Currently, they are pointing to the drive name that is the “default, out of the box” name.

Yes, most likely they will fail to find the drive if you change its name. You’d need to make the same name adjustment on anything attaching to those shares.
